That's why so many people are typing "how to draw" into google, or rushing to reddit to ask for the best online art tutorials.

You don’t need skills. You don’t need taste. You don’t need permission.

You only need to jump in, and follow your joy! Even beginners can do that.

Because a playful sense of wonder will help you build a lifestyle of art.  And that's a superpower.  Just follow your curiosity, and the skills will multiply while you barely notice it, because you'll stumble across the things you need while you are genuinely engaged with the world around you.

The best thing you can do for yourself is find a mentor that makes you feel comfortable and enthusiastic, and that you can trust to give you the right technical skills as you need them.
